The third and final public hearing for the Toronto Police’s civilian review of the G20 will be held on Monday in Scarborough.
It is the last opportunity for members of the public to make submissions to the Independent Civilian Review into Matters Relating to last summer’s G20 Summit, called by the Toronto Police Services Board to review the board’s and the police service’s activities during the summit and the role the police board should play in future large-scale events.
The review is being led by retired judge and former Chief Justice of Ontario, John Morden.
The hearing will be held at the Scarborough Civic Centre, 150 Borough Dr., from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Monday, 13 June 2011.
To speak at the hearing, individuals must complete an application form online or sign up in-person on the day of the hearing.
